Pootlers Blog Hop – Sale-A-Bration

Neues Jahr, neuer Blog Hop. Heute dreht sich alles um die Sale-a-Bration von Stampin’ Up!

New year, new blog hop. Today we’re having a blast with all the new Stampin ‘Up! Sale-a-bration goodies.

Für meine Karte habe ich 3 Prämien der Sale-a-Bration verwendet. Die Stempelsets Grüße auf vier Hufen und Zusammen, sowie das Designerpapier Papierblüten.

I used 3 Sale-a-Bration products for my card. The stamp sets Darling Donkeys (sooooo adorable) and Healing Hearts, as well as the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper.

Den schnuckligen Esel habe ich auf Seidenglanz Papier gestempelt und anschließend mit den Wassertankpinseln ausgemalt. So bekommt man einen schönen zarten Farbverlauf ohne viel Aufwand.

I stamped that cute donkey on shimmery white paper and then painted it in with a water brush. I like the subtle gradient effect you get with the water painters.

Den Gruß habe ich auf Transparentpapier embosst. Um farbig zu embossen nehmt ihr mit dem Stempel erst Versamark tinte auf und dann die Farbe eurer Wahl. Anschließend wird mit transparentem Embosspulver heißgeprägt. Immer zuerst Versamark sonst habt ihr den Großteil der Farbtinte auf dem Versamark Stempelkissen und nicht auf dem Papier wo sie hingehört.
Dem Etikett habe ich noch mit der Schere einen schönen Wellenrand verpasst und diesen mit einem Marker (oder Stempelkissen) leicht eingefärbt.

I embossed the greeting on vellum paper. You can emboss in every colour you like. First ink up your stamp with Versamark and then the colour of your choice. Then stamp and emboss with clear emboss powder. Always ink up with Versamark first, otherwise you will have most of your ink colour on the Versamark pad and not on the paper where it should go.
Feel free to style your tag any shape you like, I used scissors to give it a nice wavy edge and slightly coloured the top edge with a marker (or an ink pad).
